Do you know about Northern Lights? We Certainly hadn’t until Quinnfix posted his video of the Southside Festival Procession onto Youtube.
If you don’t know then Northern Lights is part of the Year Of Creative Scotland 2012. Creative Scotland are asking members of the public to collaborate with them to assist in the creation of a unique feature-length documentary film about life in Scotland. They want you to take out your cameras and record your own personal videos about Scotland’s past, present and future.
But hurry as project submissions are open until 21 June 2012. You can submit as many video contributions as you like which will then be gathered together and the footage will be edited into a unique, first in a lifetime, vision of Scotland in the year 2012.
So if you, like Quinnfix, have filmed a unique piece of festival or southside footage in 2012 then please feel free to submit it. If you feel your footage isn’t professional enough or wish to contribute produce something before the 21st then please see the handy guides on the get involved page
