NINE BELOW ZERO’s gig in Queens Park Glasshouse at 8pm looks like it’s going to be the Southside music event of the year. Contemporaries of , close in style to and sharing the same influences as Dr.Feelgood with whom they’ve often shared stages with at rhythm and blues festivals and television shows around the world , NBZ,’s explosive mix of blues and rock has won them chart success with six albums including the now classic and recently re released ‘ Live At The Marquee ‘.
Not only do they have a fantastic opening act in one of Scotland’s best loved soul bands Button Up whose bassist Garry John Kane from The Proclaimers band will be compiling a set of classic northern soul tunes to keep things moving after the show and during changeovers , NBZ’s guest list will include some of the following Southside Festival acts who may be coaxed into joining them onstage. http://www.ninebelowzero.co

Junction ‘ , ‘Tempted’ , ‘Pulling Mussels From A Shell’ .

Steve Poltz will be supported by another highly talented American singer/songwriter Dylan Sneed at The Southside Festival’s Glad Cafe shows on Fri. 24th May. 8pm.
